Time is the most important aspect of the doctor-patient relationship. That is why I operate on a fee-for-service basis. I am not paneled with any commercial insurance companies, and payment is due at time-of-service.

Most patients can submit a superbill to their insurance company to take advantage of their “out-of-network” benefits after they pay our practice directly.

College Insurance Plans

Most Boston-area college student insurance plans offer excellent out-of-network benefits for psychiatry. Please reach out to our office to check your student benefits.

We regularly serve students at Harvard, MIT, Northeastern, Boston University, Boston College, Tufts, Berklee School of Music, and more.

We partner with thrizer to manage our patients out-of-network insurance benefits. With thrizer, you ONLY pay your co-insurance rate up front.

Many patients with out-of-network benefits can submit receipts to their insurance company for reimbursement. We provide a “superbill” for you to submit directly to your insurance company.

We will work with you to ensure your reimbursements are processed correctly.

First Appointment (ongoing patient)

Child & Adolescent initial consultation - $1,500

Adult initial consultation - $1,000

Subsequent Appointments

Combined therapy & medication - $750

Medication management - $400

One-Time Consultation
for medical, legal or scholastic matters

One-time consult - $2,000 - $5,000 depending on complexity.

Home visits

Some families may prefer to receive treatment in their own homes. Dr. Fu offers home visits for child & adolescent patients. Please call our practice at 617-401-8838 to inquire.

Concierge Services

Weekend Fees

Weekend appointments incur a $300 fee.
